Does anyone know which time out settings I should change so that this error will not come up again?
This problem resolved after I added more resources in the Hyper-V Manager for the Epicor SQL Server.
Making sure this value is set to 100.
Virtual machine reserve (percentage): 100

Suggest you run the Epicor Performance Diagnostic tool. I think I upgraded the VM to use SSD.
