To add in fast moving, slow moving, non moving and obselet in part maintenance

Hi Epicor Community, I’m trying to add in an check box for fast moving, slow moving, non-moving and obsolete in the part maintenance

If a part is obsolete it should be made inactive, so you’re already covered there. How are you defining what is slow, fast or non-moving? If it’s the number of transactions within a certain period I’d set this up as a BAQ and add it to the screen using a BAQDataView and grid, no custom fields needed.

I have used a scheduled function that looks at the Order History for x months and if there have been no orders within that time it will set the part on hold with a pre-defined hold code. This means that if a Salesperson adds the part to a Quote or Order they will know that it is on hold and potentially need to go and get the latest costing information

Then in conjunction with Change Logging i can analyse the number of times this has happened
