Trans date and sys date way off

We find PO receipts with strange dates. I'm still trying to track it down, but it appears if you make a change to a PO reciept or try to fix it, it goes back to the original PO date??

So yes, we get strange dates, but I'm not sure where they are all coming.

Hi all,

Did or does anyone have a problem with transaction date verification. When out acct closes for the month there are multiple transactions with a trans date that is 3 to 4 months different then the sysdate. Doesn't matter if its pur-ins or mfg-stk etc etc

We are on 8.03.408b

thanx

Hi,

We are on 8.03.409c and found that the Ship Date and the Inventory
Transfer date can be overridden. We found a couple of dates where a
user put in a quantity instead of a date and it is accepted. So quantity
of 152 = 01/05/2002. We have just recently put in code to have this
field read only.

I am not sure if this would be the same case for pur-ins and mfg-stk,
but you could probably test by using your TEST system to see if the date
can be overridden.

Hi all,

Did or does anyone have a problem with transaction date verification.
When out acct closes for the month there are multiple transactions with
a trans date that is 3 to 4 months different then the sysdate. Doesn't
matter if its pur-ins or mfg-stk etc etc

We are on 8.03.408b

thanx
