Transaction type by GL account

Hello everyone,

I want to see what transaction types are being pulled in for each GL account.
Which menu has that information?
Thanks in advance!

You will have to look at the posting rules for each GL Control Code that your company uses.

You can also download the Transaction Hierarchy documents from EpicWeb that tell you for each Transaction Type what the hierarchy is.

Thanks everyone for the tips. The method you suggested requires you to first know the transaction type and then search for the GL account for that type. When searching for a GL account, is there a way to see what types are included in that GL?
In fact, the reason this question arose was because the Inventory adjustment account contained an unexpected transaction. I previously thought that Inventory adjustment accounts would only have ADJ-QTY and similar types. However, the accounting team said that the data from the inventory management department did not match the ledger, so we looked into it and found that transactions related to AR Invoice were also included in this account, as shown below.
So what I wanted to know was what transactions each GL account was bringing in.

looking at your screen - the Journal Code of GJ could be your smoking gun.
Search for the journal number on that transaction and you could ask the user that performed a journal entry against a controlled account why they did the entry.
