Trigger Email Alert when Attaching an Attachment to a Job

Haven't personally done this one but for an idea. You could try to use
a BAM on the XFileAttch table.

A rule to validate that the key is a job number and RelatedToFile is a
job. Once the rules are met,

have the BAM action send out an email.

 I was going to suggest a 'BAM' program to send an alert, based on the 'Jobhead' table or 'Drawings' table, but, in our version, 'Drawings' table is not available for for a 'BAM'.

UI. Hehehe.... I just assumed the ability was there like in SO and PO

will automatically attach to a job.

The only way you are going to be able to trigger an event from an
attachment is through a BPM. This will allow you to pass a number of
things to the alert.

Oh, and also if you right-click on the Job Number in the tree on the
left side you get the option of "Add New Attachment".
