UD table application studio erp_combo_box with baq does not display the textfield when the value field is blank when called from app-open on the purchase order entry form but does display when first selected and saved

I have a new button- Call Log - on the Purchase Order Entry form, after I click that button it brings up the UD table form.

I then select the purchase point name (city) which has a blank or null purchase point key
and it shows the purchase point name and city. I then click the save icon and exit the UD form.

I then go back to the Purchase Order Entry form, and I click the Call Log button and it brings up the UD table form.

It brings up the Call Log UD form and you can see that the purchase point name and city are blank.

This is the erp_combo_box properties

This is the baq with shows results for the blank or null purchase point key with a valid purchase point name and city

Why are you using a blank/null key? If you give it a real key it will find the record. You should be able to do that if you’re using a UD field and not Key1/2/3

In classic it works as you can see from the screen shot below.

We would have to change thousands of purchase point records and thousands of existing UD records to do what you are suggesting.

Can you think of any other options?
