Unable to import function libraries in 2024.1 - you have no rights to import a library with custom code

yes, it looks like configuration issue with pilot.

Acronym?

Problem also exists in third, fourth, and fifth. So somebody would have had to make the same mistake on all 4 environments. Any ideas how to get it fixed quickly? Support has not responded to my cases. The one on menu maintenance has been open for a week.

@klincecum Aren’t you cloud? Are you able to import function libraries in 2024.1?

I am, but I’m on flex.

I was going to upgrade my pilot this week to 2024.1, after I backed up my work, but now you got me scared.

I’ve got two projects going I can’t afford to atm.

Sorry!

Coward lol

Maybe some other brave cloud customer will weigh in.

That’s an abbreviation formed from the initial letters of other words and pronounced as a word, but that’s not important right now.

I would love to, but haven’t gotten the 2024.1 push yet. I thought it was slated for next week (after multiple delays). Did I miss it?? My Pilot never updated.

… Hey… that IS a good one! Works in all kinds of cases!

I asked for it to be done earlier, you didn’t miss it.

I was getting the same error when trying to install a library that was built in a different Kinetic version I was installing to (Live 2023.2 to Pilot 2024.1, or vice versa – can’t remember). It installed fine after the upgrade to 2024.1 completed over the weekend.

I am exporting and importing from 2024.1

So it did end up being an unspecified cloud configuration issue. All I know is after multiple days of escalation and many emails its finally working.
