Unable to reopen the closed asset period

I am facing a new challenge where in my company we are unable to reopen the closed asset period , the checkboxes are greyed out. could anyone help me ?

You can not if you have run the Asset year process. Otherwise, you should be able to.

You can try with updatable BAQ, but, I won’t recommend it.
