Unable to send email to groups

Hi All
I am trying to make use of APR to send email to our groups in the system.
It goes out to an individual, but it doesn’t go to all the people in a group.

Is the distribution group name valid? First time I’ve seen an email addy starting with an underscore ( _Assembly_Job_Travelers ). If it is valid, check the serve logs and/or ask the group members to check their quarantine/spam.

yes, the name is valid, I can forward the email to that address from outlook.
I also checked with the members of that group and no one received that email.
Also, the log shows email was sent:

OK, if Kinetic shows it as successful then that’s the first step. Check your mailserver…if you’re using 365 run a message trace and/or check quarantine.

Message trace can only be done by 365 admin. Correct?

Someone on your IT team should have Microsoft portal access if you’re using 365 to handle your email…or access to the mailserver if not

That ; should not have any effect, but try removing it. It’s only purpose is to act as a delimitter if sending to multiple emails.

If you can see it in the Epicor Email log then it’s an upstream issue.

Have you sent emails from Epicor previously?

In actual fact, looking at the screen shot. I think that your mail server is probably rejecting it because the from address does not match with the email address setup in your email settings.

This may not solve your problem. I know I have emails going out with a different from address than the one configured and they work… Once again this probably being controlled by your upstream email server or SPAM filtering.

Delegation/send-as rights? In your case you have SMTP localhost and authenticate anonymously…but if he’s got an explicit username in the email settings, maybe that’s conflicting…

Sometimes group e-mails are created with restrictions on who can use them. Depending on how you have configured your e-mail connection in Kinetic, the message may be seen as coming from an unauthorized source.

If this is a new group just created check this setting on the group in the email server. It may be being seen as an outside email.
