No. The calculated field "(OrderHed.orderdate = Max(OrderHed.orderdate)" is
testing for a "TRUE" condition. The result of the calculated field will
return either "FALSE" (when the order date does NOT equal the maximum date,
and TRUE when OrderHed.Orderdate = MAX ORDER DATE. You set your aggregate
to prepass so that it will run through the records first and find the
maximum date for that set of records. As it passes through the records a
second time the comparison is made to your Order Header field
"Orderhed.Orderdate". By setting the conditional printing to print ONLY
when a TRUE condition exists in the calculated field then only those records
that are the maximum date will be printed.

Shirley,
You lost me there. I changed my aggregate, but after that I am not sure.
I
am going to have an aggregate and a calculated field both showing max
orderdate?

Mark,
Try this. create an aggreagte field, Prepass, on order date
MAX(OrderHed.Orderdate) reset on order number. accumulate on every
composite.
Then create a calculated field "Orderhed.Orderdate =
MAX(OrderHed.Orderdate). The go into the band and set the conditional
print
seting to print when the calculated field is TRUE.
This should only print those order dates that equal the maximum orderdate.

Hi,
I have been asked to create a report for management, which I have
been working on for the last couple of days, but can't seem to get it
just right. The report I am working on lists customer, ship to,
sales rep and last order date. I'm doing something wrong as I am
very close, but not sure what it is. Does anyone have any experience
with a report like this? I am really running out of ideas on how to
fix it (and patience).
Thanks,
Mark Smith
