UOM part specific

I'd like to second what Richard said. While you can do it, you need to be
very careful. Depending on how you do it, there can be massive ramification
to your part costing data.

Hi

Epicor 9.04.506

We have set a UOM class with 2 UOM 1. EA 2. KG

The KG is set up as part specific conversion.

But on some parts I cannot change the factor even its a new part duplicated from another part.
The question is why on some parts it allows me to change and on some not ?

Ephraim

Do you have any inventory in stock of the parts?

Ephraim,

Once you set a Part Specific Conversion factor, it is usually permanent. However there is a way to uncover the field and reset it, but it has to be used with caution. If you e-mail me off-list I can send you the instructions & warnings.
