Updatable BAQ Issue

I tried to update the ShipDtl.IUM field via an updatable BAQ in 10.2.700.7 but I got the following message. Anyone knows why and please help. I remember I did it on version 10.1.500.7.

Severity: Exception, Table: ShipDtl, Field: , RowID: f7e75cce-c74d-438c-8df2-310fb2ca4ae9, Text: This function is not allowed.

Why would you need to change the Inventory Unit of Measure on ShipDtl? The way you store the part in inventory shouldn’t change from part to shipment.

Thank you, Chance. The Unit on ShipDtl doesn’t match that in Part. We tried to make them the same.
