Update production calendar through process set

Hi all

I am running the schedule as per the screenshot above. I need to run MRP on a 5 day calendar (M to F) but I need to run mfg lead time calendar on a 7 day calendar (otherwise I get dates that are completely out of whack)

Is there anything I can run before manufacturing lead time calculation starts to update the production calendar to a 7 day calendar (already have it setup in the system) and switch it back to a 5 day calendar after mfg lead time calculation finsihes?

I can do this through updating the calendar directly in SQL but hoping a way to include it in the process set so that it all stays in sync, otherwise in SQL I’m just guessing when I should be updating the calendars.

Thanks!

Not quite following, but do you mean you need to run MRP before the mfg lead time Calc for five days and the other two just run the mfg lead time calc?

If so I’d suggest using a process set for 5 (Mon-Friday) days running the MRP first then run the lead time calc after that, then run the lead time calc on a two day schedule (Sat- Sun).

Using a process set allows you to execute multiple tasks either sequentially or all at the same time.

Sorry for the confusion - So the use case is that we want to run MRP on a calendar which has working days set as Monday - Friday so that it does not plan jobs for the weekend.

However, when I run manufacturing lead time calculation, I want to change the production calendar on company/site settings to Monday - Sunday (all 7 days) instead of Monday - Friday (5 days) before running mfg lead time calculation because this gives quite weird calculations that are quite off.
