Updateable Dashboards Stopped Working

Don’t forget the additional database downgrade fee so you are looking at over 30 grand.

Feels like extortion.

So 2026.100.7 partly broke my rebuilt uBAQ dashboards.

I was not aware of this issue and now I’m worried.

I tested some updatable dashboards in Pilot this morning and all are working fine, so my question, is the problem scoped ?

For example. Is the problem happening with dashboard built in classic amd converted to Kinetic ? Is it happening with dashboard (Kinetic App) built with the application studio wizard ?

I personally always build my dashboards from scratch, without any wizards, and I never use grid provider model setup, so maybe I simply dodged the bullet this time ?

Same - just tried one here and no issues that I can see. Ours must have been built for Kinetic and not classic…we were 99% browser-based on go-live.

We are on 2026.100.6 in Production and my UBAQ for closing Jobs which I think I created using the wizard is broken with error
“[CDATA[System.InvalidOperationException: SetAdded and SetModified can only be called on DataRows with Unchanged DataRowState.”

Testing in our pilot 2026.100.7 and dashboard is working there we are on cadence so 2026.100.7 will be our live next Saturday

We are on 2026.100.7 and our updateable dashboards are working but I am getting reports they are much slower.

You linked my post and we are experiencing around 5 minutes to update 1 record in a set of about 750 records for one specific dashboard. Does anyone have details on that fix for using functions? Not sure I want to invest that much time but I may have to if Epicor can’t provide a solution soon. I escalated my case this morning but still haven’t gotten a response on it other than the initial, “Once an Analyst has been assigned to this case, they will review the information and request additional details, if needed, to move the case forward.” Very frustrating when this type of stuff happens and no responses happen, especially when much of our production team relies heavily on these dashboards to handle their day-to-day activities.

I’m getting reports that everything is slower… which… I don’t keep track of metrics, but it made me think, would there be a lightweight utility to track that across our deployments, stored in some mysql or sql database somewhere so we can all benchmark “performance” to a degree?

Our dashboards were hand built using @mbayley’s template. So this was not converted from Classic. The updatable ones are now not working.

Are these Kinetic hand built dashboards? If so, do you have the link for @mbayley’s template? I may want to reference some of this for future builds as well as rebuilding some of our older ones that were uplifted from classic to kinetic.

Here is the current @mbayley and @tpogue showed at Insights this year Tips & Tricks for Managing Your Kinetic Dashboards

Not sure when Epicor applies Hot Fixes for Cloud folks, these have been around since 6/25/26
