As we review each menu item to ensure everything works after upgrading to 2025, I noticed that BAQ Report menu items as listed as “Classic BAQ Report”. To make the switch, you have to change to Kinetic App and select the correct Ice.UIRpt application.
It seems that in order to have the BAQ report show in the Application List, you have to first “Preview Application” in the BAQ Report Designer.
Is there a way to have this automatically run for all BAQ Reports, something similar to Dashboard Maintenance, or are we restricted to doing it one by one?

The Preview Application creates the Kinetic App in the background so there is nothing to reference in the Kinetic menu before doing that! To my knowledge, there unfortunately isn’t a way of automating this process or creating the app and then linking it to the menu
I could probably add this as a feature to my dev tools dashboard, if you could work with me to gather the relevant trace information so I can call the various BOs needed
A whole bunch of unrelated things that an Epicor developer might do/need that are more advanced/not offered out of the box, related to app studio, functions, etc. - basically, anything that frustrated me as a developer is a candidate for inclusion.
If you could provide the network trace from the web browser, from one or two iterations of performing the action manually, i could put together a little test dashboard to fire the function and see what we get for results
