Go to the most recent version of 9.05, not 9.04. I suspect that 9.04
development will be ceased shortly, so you would end up missing out on a
lot, and you will need to go to 9.05 eventually anyway.
Also, in terms of time, effort, and "cleanliness" I would recommend
seriously considering not "upgrading" your existing database, and consider
taking advantage of the DMT tool and doing more of a re-implementation
versus an upgrade. It will allow you to make your move much easier, and give
you a chance to really clean up data in the process while making your "go
live weekend" a lot smoother and less work.

We are currently on Vantage 6.10.543 and are starting to look at upgrading
to Epicor 9. My question to the group is do I want to upgrade to Epicor
9.04 or 9.05? I've seen a few posts about the problems people were having
with 9.05 and I really don't want to put the users of 3 separate companies
through that. Also, what are the major advantages of upgrading to 9.05 over
staying at a more stable 9.04?
