Sarah,

If you add /pro0= and your vantage tracking number place holder to the
end of the Roadway Express that will then link directly to the shipment.

These are the others we use, some of them we couldn't get it to
automatically plug in the tracking # so it opens the website and we have
to copy and paste the tracking # in, most of them I believe use the

In 6.1 I am trying to use the Tracking number field in the ShipHeader to
call Internet Explorer through the VBForm and go to the UPS site to get
the shipping information. All commands I have tried either through a
Progress procedure or in the VB form (ShellExec) are giving me a syntax
error. What am I doing wrong???

Thanks!

If I understand correctly, I believe this functionality is built into
Vantage. In your ship via maintenance table, put in the website for
tracking, this is what we use for UPS:

URL:
http://wwwapps.ups.com/WebTracking/processInputRequest?HTMLVersion=5.0&s

ack.y=3

Placeholder: <VantageTrackNum>

Then, when you make the packing slip, pick UPS as the shipVia and enter
the UPS tracking # in on the header in the tracking number field. Then
when you look at that packing slip header through the customer shipment
tracker, you can click the 'track' button and it will take you to the
ups tracking website for that tracking #.

Is this what you are trying to do or did I totally miss it?
