Hey gang, I know this is probably lazy of me but I’ve already started looking through the many security setup threads and there is a lot of reading. Also my searching has not provided good results on this seemingly technical issue.
In User Account Security Maintenance when I add a group for a user it shows there for a brief minute, but if I hit SAVE then the page refreshes and the group disappears.
Am I doing something wrong? I also will go to the group and add the members there, that seems easier but if I run a BAQ on user the group doesn’t show in the SecGroup list in the BAQ!?!?!
I tried using this today and it doesn’t work for saving anything against UserFile or I guess anything important, really… However it does visually update, and when you go to User Account Maintenance, the group is included in the user’s group list.
I had to remove the group, save, re-add the group, save. You might want to save the user without the group before adding it again. Erp.UserFile looked normal after that.
