I did have an issue with my joins. I appreciate the assistance.

Has anyone had difficulties before with getting data to populate in UDF's for Crystal based reports used in Vantage, ie Travler, Sales Order Ack? I can see data in some of the fields but not all when I know there is data for those fields in the related modules themselves.
You may need to make a custom Report Data Definition. Reports don't always
carry every field from a given table.

Right, I modified the RDD to include the fields that I need and brought them into the crystal report.

Are the fields on a separate table? If so, you may want to check your
joins.

Otherwise, it may be a bug or a quirk in the report. When you look at the
actual xml file, is the data in it?

Step 1:
Check your .XML file
(usually located on the \\servername\epicor\<yourdatabasename>\server\reports\<user name> folder the .xml file can be opened in a browser)Â
Note: these are created each time you print from most Epicor reports, and are by default deleted after 15 min

Step 2: (if the info is there)
Check your linking in Crystal
(From the main menu in Crystal choose Database - Database Expert - and the Links tab)

P.S. It has been my experience that you cannot do a calculated field off of a UD feild in a BAQ.......If that is how you are trying to "filter" your data?

Sincerely,
Lana

Has anyone had difficulties before with getting data to populate in UDF's for Crystal based reports used in Vantage, ie Travler, Sales Order Ack? I can see data in some of the fields but not all when I know there is data for those fields in the related modules themselves.
