User Logon

Dose tweakui work with terminal services? I use it (tweakui) on all my DC
computers with the automatic logon feature checked.
They log on by themselves...I have a shortcut to DC in the startup so that
starts automatically...Now with that little menuoption trick noted below
(Thank you so much Sarah) they even start DC on their own. Any problems
with the computers, simple answer log off and it takes care of itself...big
problems, shut it off and start it back up.
Hope it helps, but if not, this might bring together several tips for Data
Collection computers for someone else.

Good luck,

Thanks Sarah. As it turns out "Plant Floor Collector" already has it taken
care of in the vtg file. I'm using terminal services, so it's actually the
network logon that I need to automate. - Les

I heard some buzz coming out of perspectives that there was a way to
configure the data collections logons so that the user didn't have to
enter their user name and password. All of our Data Collections Users
use the same logons. I would assume this would be similar to adding a
command line to a MS Access link.(/user "???" /pwd "???") Does
anybody know how to this is done in 5.1? Thanks - Les
On 5.0, I have the following in the data collection vtg file:

VantageDataCollectionUser=YES (specifies this is a data collection license)
VantageLogin=cli1/cli1 (specifies the userID and password so the prompt
does not open)
MenuOption=de\dee10.w (opens directly to the data collection program)
