User Time Out

It works for all but data collection, actually that is the workaround if
you don't want vantage to close, all you have to do is keep the office
data collection window open ;)

Does this work for certain users or does it have to be for all users?

I'd rather not have my Data Collection Stations kicked off.

We have it set up to 'terminate' users after 25 minutes of inactivity.
Call tech support to ask for an instruction sheet.

There is a registry change and a server reboot required.

Make sure to inform the users about all the windows that pop-up once
they are terminated. (My nickname here is the Terminator)

This feature didn't work with Vantage 4.0.

You can set a DB connection timeout on the server, I found it on the
progress website, but if you call suport they will send you the info,
it's one new key to the registry and you set the timeout in minutes and
you're good to go.
