Maybe I’m waaaay behind the curve on this. I didn’t find anything searching the forum.
Anyway, SaaS users have had multiple URL paths for a bit now.
Ye olde path root https://centralusdtapp<server ID>.epicorsaas.com/... and new friendly named path root https://<company name>-live.epicorsaas.com/... are handled differently. They should be equivalent, traceroute returns identical navigation and endpoint IP for each despite the “new IP address” warnings sent out (not surprising…).
But they’re not! They’re session-distinct. Same browser, same browsing context, same user ID, logged into each is treated as two different sessions, consuming two licenses. Or, blocked if multiple sessions aren’t allowed for the user, same difference. If I didn’t miss the bus on an earlier PSA, well, PSA I guess.
