Using Quick Ship with PILOT?

How do I configure/access Quickship for our PILOT instance? I’m new to Quick Ship and don’t quite understand the topology and mechanics of it.

We are cloud and have a QuickShip station in 2 sites currently. Can these 2 stations be used with our PILOT instance for testing/training without actually generating shipments at UPS or FedEx? Or do we need separate dedicated stations for PILOT?

(My hope is that it is just a URL change in Kinetic Company Configuration needed, and that somehow it will then know to use the UPS/FedEx test APIs instead of the real ones.)

I’m not cloud so I won’t be much help. I could help for on-prem. Sorry

I don’t know what you get for additional instances of QS. It’s a simple URL change in Kinetic in about 4 places. But I don’t know where you’d get your cloud URL.

Didn’t work for us. Had to learn on the go when we went Live.

You should have a Pilot instance of your cloud Quick Ship ours is the same as live but with a ‘-pilot’ after the sitename: https://qs.sitename-pilot

Yep - that did it! Now I just have to see if anyone around here has the password, lol.

There are settings inside Epicor too for the Workstations that need to point to Pilot QS.

And the two URLs in company and site config.

and those!

So…do I duplicate the workstation and on the copy change the URL to the PILOT URL?

In your pilot kinetic you can use the same workstations. Just change the url on them.

When I configure REST for Quick Ship in Company Config, with username, password, etc., should the test button auto-login to Quick Ship or just bring me to the Quick Ship login screen?
