We are preparing to move to v4 and were testing the custom reports
that we had created in Crystal and ran into the following problem:
On a VB Form attached to the OrderDtl we have Radio-Set buttons. The
results of which are stored in the CharacterXX fields. We have a
number of different Crystal labels that we print based upon those
radio sets. Under v4, Crystal sees these fields as Memo field types
and will not allow us to use the fields in calculations. Vantage sees
these as Character X(8) fields.
Does anyone know if there is a fix to this?
