Thanks, I have a BPM spitting out the file.. that wasn't too hard.

Next is getting AP users to start testing and define their processes and I expect to take the most time now.
That is one of the reasons I was originally interested in going the "Electronic Payments" route.
All the setup/processes would already be defined for them.

Hi

Wondering if anyone is using the "Electronic Processing" that is built into V8 and can share any experiences?

We're looking at starting to use American Express "vPay" for suppliers who can accept payments.
As far as I can tell, the "generic" template isn't "exposed" to customize ourselves.
I was going to check with CAM/custom services this coming week... if they would quote for the AMEX file spec

In the meantime I started a BPM that outputs a basic AMEX file ( "Process Payments" from AP group).
It is working in general but will take some time to completely match line/field the AMEX file spec.
Since lines/fields have to exactly populated & positioned, start, lengths, etc...
I'd like to know about "electronic payments" before I get too far along with the BPM.
Since I'm assuming there will be more to customize besdie just the output file.
e.g. AP processing, selecting, seperating "vPay" suppliers, invoices.

You have a couple of choices here, 2 of which are free and one is costly.

1) Creating a BPM to get the output you need.

2) Create a macro on the CSV output file into the format you need.

3) Ask Epicor CSG to create the output file for you. Beware that this could be costly and will need to be re-written when you upgrade.
