One of the 6.1 to 8.0 conversion routines resequences Job BOM's in the JobAsmbl table. For example, if a subassembly had children of c1 c3 and c2, it would be resequenced to c1 c2 and c3. We didn't have a problem with this once we understood why it was doing it.

The main problem is that in 6.1 the labor rate for standard costing was
located in the Operations Master File. Likewise the Overhead rate was
located in the Work Center Master File. In 8.x both those rates now exist
as a resource group as work centers no longer exist. If you haven't seen a
problem, than you mustn't be doing standard job costing or your cost
accountant would be pulling out his hair trying to determine why costing is
off.
