V8 installation

Hello,

We installed vantage 6.10 , 800.812 , 803.305, and 803.403 at one test server and everything working without problems.
We are using Progress 9.1D for 6.1 10.0B for 803.305 and 10.1B for 803.304 and it is working. At the end we are going install all manufacturing system at new server.

If you have any questions write to my email bart@...

Bart.

Subject: [Vantage] V8 installation

We are doing a new installation of V8.03.403d
What is the best way to do it?
I've read that we should install v8 on separate volumes.
If so how do you do that?
We have setup our server with 3 volume C: D: E: all raid 10
Do I install Vantage and OpenEdge on one volume (C:) then move the DB
to the other drive(D:)and do the "After Image" file on Drive (E)
I believe that is what is the most efficient way to run.
Other scenarios
Do I install Vantage and OpenEdge on one volume (D:) then move the DB
to the other (E:)?
Or do we install Vantage on one volume (C:)and OpenEdge on the other
(D) and then the DB on a separate one (E:)?
What about the AI file were does that go?
Is there any documentation on how to do this? If someone has any thing
documented, could you forward them to me
I do have Epicor's Doc on "Hardware Sizing and Configuration Guide",
but that doesn't help me on how to do the install. Only on what is the
best hardware scenarios not how to get there.
Since we are doing a full implementation we would like to have the
best possible configuration for futures use.

Thank you,
