No, I was talking about native to Vantage, but that must be new to a
release we're on? It's not a custom report we've downloaded/created.
We're on 8.03.403d. Sorry if I misunderstood the version you were
asking about.

I know this has been beat to death for Vantage 6 and earlier but does
anyone know if there is a easy way to report on security in Vantage 8
to determine what access users have. We have security setup to our
satisfaction on a TEST database and now need to setup on our
PRODUCTION db - would be nice if we could at least look at a report
from TEST.

Thanks,

Having a great time ;~) go-live is a couple of weeks away!
Not sure if this gives you what you want but if you go to System management/Security Maintenance/User Security and do a wide open search, select all, OK, then in the list view select all of the records and do a copy selection. You can dump the whole mess in a spreadsheet and insert a row with your column headers. That will give you a snapshot of every security setting for every user.

I guess I may not have been clear - I am looking to report on what
"menus" or "programs" the users have access to and/or group membership.

The report under System Mangement -> Security Maintenance -> Reports
called Menu Security Report might give you most of that. I wasn't real
impressed with the layout of the report, but I didn't play around with
the options very long.

It also took a considerable amount of time to run (3 hours, yikes) if
you run on all menus (leave the Menu ID blank).
