Vantage 5.0 Splash Screen

Erik,
Vantage 5.1 has a way to block multiple sessions, plus a 'timeout' as they call it which closes a SECOND vantage login if left idle for a specified period of time. I believe these options were introduced in Vantage 5.1, so I don't think they are available in 5.0 -- just letting you know they exist.

Your one option currently would be to spend the $100 to get Mike Podlin's third-party timeout utility. It can (or not depending on how you set it up) disable multiple logins from the same PC (on a per PC basis). It's main function is to log off idle users after a specified time period. In this setting also, you can specify one time for ALL users, but make the time longer or shorter for individual workstations. It's well worth the money as many on this list can vouch for.

Subject: [Vantage] Vantage 5.0 Splash Screen

We recently converted from 3.0 to 5.0. Since on 5.0 the splash screen
when starting Vantage only appears for a split second and then it's
gone, nothing comes up until the login screen. Is there anyway to
keep the splash on-screen so users are not 'accidently' bringing up
another session.

Thanks!
