I joined the Vantage family in V8, but if your Quote form is in Crystal, it's
not too difficult. We have a similar situation. We purchased a company and
legally it's part of our company. However, we wanted to retain the brand name,
so all customer facing documents get the old logo.

In the Crystal Quote form, we placed each logo on the form. For each graphic,
right mouse click and choose Format Graphic. On the General Tab, click in the
Suppress box and click the X*2 button on the right. Here we place a condition
that is false if this company. Do the same for the other graphic and make it
false for the other company. In our case, we look at the first digit of the
customer number (kind of lazy but it was available and it was also true in the
previous system). So now when the customer number begins with a '5', one logo
is displayed (the other is suppressed) and when it isn't a '5' the other logo
displays.

This way, everything is in one database and only the customer sees the Quote
form. We did the same for the packings list, invoice, order acknowledgment,
etc.

I am trying to figure out how I can quote for 2 differnt companys' and
print the correct quote form for each company. We only have 1 company
set up for vantage, except for receiveables. Can one companys' master
files and data be copied somehow to another company in Vantage? I will
have to make up another quote form no matter what I do. I don't want to
give security access to configuration controls else they could just
select / change each time to the correct form they print for each company.
Any ideas out there? I don't have any programming skills either so keep
that in mind.
Thanks
