Vantage 6.10.543 Clock Out Error

7248 did the trick, thanks all for the advice and opening up some more Vantage areas for me to carefully explore.

Jeff

Greetings all,

I've been searching for an answer to this issue I am having with Vantage and I keep coming up empty.

I have 2 shop employees who are unable to clock out.  They somehow got stuck being clocked in to a job without a valid job number and I can't "force" them out.  I attached a screen shot to the photos section, but I don't see any way to include this in the post itself.  I'd appreciate it if someone could point me in the right direction.

Thanks!

Just upload your screenshot image to imgur.com and then share the link with us.

Go to System Management, Utilities, Database Conversions and run #7428 & #7429 to End Activity on those transactions…..

That should clean up those transactions for you.

Thanks Julie!  I will run that tonight when nobody is clocked in and I can make a quick backup.
I have no experience with 6, we went from 5.2 to 9.05. On 5.2 we had 2 progress programs support had provided us to fix these types of issues when they occurred, I believe they were called "endact.r" and "clockout.r", depending on the issues. When running from procedure editor they would prompt for company name and employee id. Now on 9.05 we run the standard conversion programs. I am not sure which method works on 6.1, but support should be able to tell you. HTH

I have ran than in the middle of the day.  It will prompt you for the ID and search.  It will display all the clocked in jobs.  Click on NO/YES and save.

There are two conversion programs in the 9500 area that take care of that. I believe they were available for V6 but I can’t remember.
