Good luck with that! They cancelled the development on 9.04.508 which has
fixes I've been waiting for 2 years to get. My only option is to go to
9.05. L

I think it would be great if they are really slowing down a bit and cleaning
up some of the "features" for us.

for some of these "promised" fixes since early 2009. 8.03.409 came out in
February of 2010, 409A in March, 409C in June, nothing since then. We were
told in April of 2011 that development on Epicor 9 had been suspended; that
a concentrated effort was to be made to fix and stabilize both Epicor 9 and
Vantage 8.03.4xx before renewing development on Epicor 9. We were told that
was why 410 had been pushed back to the end of the year; they wanted it done
thoroughly. Another six month delay is unbelievable. The lack of production
makes it fairly obvious our maintenance dollars can't be going towards
fixing our software. (I have these visions of one programmer in a back room
somewhere struggling with Vantage fixes, and maybe he/she is only a
part-time employee!) Sure would be a nice change of pace to actually have an
Epicor target date that was actually hit! Sorry about the complaining...just
needed to vent.
