I hesitate to even ask this question, as I'm fairly certain I know the
answer.
I have a remote site that is unhappy with their access via Citrix (we
have some variability in latency which makes things slow down for them)
- the site is 2K miles away from our corporate HQ.
One option they've asked Epicor themselves about is "having their own
server", and they have the impression that this is a simple,
straightforward solution. However we're an integrated MultiCompany
environment, so we have two sites transacting jobs/inventory/etc. in
that company, and a centralized corporate payable and receivables
process, with rollups, consolidated reporting, etc.
My understanding is that Vantage does not support deployment on top of
a MSSQL transactional cluster across multiple sites. Is this correct?
If we deployed in this model the company in question would be isolated
on its own server. Is this correct?
Just wondering what the solution space is for multi-site deployment.
