Vantage 8.03 Custom WIP Report - trying to figure out correct pa

Mike,

See email below - I don't know if this is what you are looking but, I
downloaded this BAQ - see email below.

I didn't need all the columns for estimates etc, so I modified the BAQ for
our company.

I like this BAQ because with the WIP Report that comes with the system is a
Progress report and you can export to Excel.

I used this BAQ because every once in a while, WIP does not get relieved
correctly and it helps me balance to the GL.

Regards

correct part transactions to process MFG and COS cost....

I should have said MFG cost/transactions are actually INV Cost/Transactions
so my WIP calc = Total Job Cost - INV Cost - COS cost.

MFG should say INV. Sorry..Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Mike..

Subject: [Vantage] Vantage 8.03 Custom WIP Report - trying to figure out
correct part transactions to process MFG and COS cost....

I'm building my own custom WIP report by figuring out MFG and COS cost by
adding up specific types of part transactions and making my WIP cost = Total
Job cost - MFG Cost - COS cost. I'm scratching my head on what to use for
"filtering" MFG transactions and "COS" transactions. So far this is what
I've used:

MFG transactions- ASM-STK,MFG-STK,MFG-VAR
COS transactions - MFG-CUS
Total Job Cost -
{JobAsmbl.TLALaborCost}+{JobAsmbl.TLABurdenCost}+{JobAsmbl.TLAMaterialCost}+
{JobAsmbl.TLASubcontractCost}

I'm REAL close to the WIP totals on the Vantage WIP (mine's a little higher)
report but I'm a little off and I'm thinking it's probably due to I'm
missing some transactions that are being totaled in the WIP calculation and
should be MFG or COS. Can anyone give me some pointers on other transactions
I might need to add for the MFG cost or COS cost? Thanks!
