And always remember; not only add table to RDD; but define relationshp at the RDD. And tie that RDD to the newly added Report Style and re-generate that xml. Then assure that table is added at the Database Expert; and confirm that relationship a the Crystal level. It is not automatic!

Paul, if you have a real-world example, give us the specifics and
perhaps it'll be easier to describe.
A short-cut with some tables in a Report Data Definition is the "Linked
Tables" tab on the Report Data Definition Maintenance screen. Some of
the brilliant software developers had enough forethought to pre-link up
related tables to the existing tables already in the standard Report
Data Definitions.
