Vantage and Clientel

Hi Steven,

>an old Visual Foxpro Database
I'll probably handle most of the data as you describe.

I'm still looking at my options for the knowledgebook PDFs.
Users will want to be able to add, delete, search, browse and view the PDFs.

And maybe some linking of the PDFs to specific customers or jobs.
I suppose this part could be covered with attachements.

Thanks

Hi,

I'm looking for ideas on making some old Clientel data accessible in Vantage 8 (Progress db).

The CRM data is stored in SQL (an upsized Access db), easy to manipulate and move. Beside calls and Org data, there are links to knowledge-book PDFs which are stored in a network directory.

Thanks
I'm doing something similar with an old Visual Foxpro Database. I am using MS Access to pull in the Foxpro data. I then created Access queries to append the data (using the Progress ODBC driver) to UD tables in Vantage. My last step will be to create BAQs and dashboards so that my Vantage users can query the data.

This is old static data that doesn't need to be updated.

Thanks
