Nancy:
Another place you can look for the error codes is if you get into the Data
Dictionary - help screen, there are 2 choices, - Messages, or Recent
messages. In Messages - you can type in your error # and usually find out
what it is. Your 74 error is "value cannot be displayed". The value is
either negative or too big for the field.

Does anyone have a list of Vantage error codes? Or can someone tell

Most Vantage error codes are actually Progress error codes. You can go to the Progress web site www.progress.com and then go to the support page. There is a box on the left you can enter error codes in and it will give you a general description of the error.
This may or may not be helpful because the descriptions are often very vague in nature.
