It's time to mark your calendars! We've put together a preliminary agenda
for the August 15th meeting (10: AM - 3:00 PM) in the Chicagoland area:
Morning Session: Paul Farrell, Senior Director of Product Marketing, Epicor
will provide a presentation regarding the Vantage 6.1 release and the Sonoma
release.
Afternoon Sessions: (Please note that these sessions are geared toward
specific user "types".)
Session 1: Upgrading to 6.0 (how-to's and pitfalls) -- geared toward the
techies in your company.
Session 2: You've heard of Where's Waldo? This session is Finding ROI, a
review of the new 6.0 digital dashboard and other management tools -- geared
toward owners and managers in your company. This session is focused on how
you company can get the best return on your investment in Vantage. While
the current 6.0 release is the focus, tools available in prior releases will
also be reviewed.
Session 3: The Focus Is You! Do you have a burning question regarding
Vantage? What are the areas where your users are having problems? What
are the biggest time-wasters? Do you need a little guidance to acquire a
comfort level with a day to day (or a month to month) issue? Send your
issue asap (along with your attendance confirmation) to
attendance@.... Based on what we receive, we will find the
'experts' among your peers to address as many of these issues and
work-arounds that they've found as possible. (The fall-back session to this
is Intro to Crystal Reports.)
As always, our meeting site will be confirmed to you after registering your
attendance. All interested parties are welcome to attend; the fee for
nonmember-company participants is $20/person.
