Rob, if what you say was true, could that cause my problem? I mean, everything works fine for weeks and weeks and then just one day, BAM, this will happen out of nowhere and rebooting always fixes it.

Just something to check, any shop employees clocked in long term (not jobs or indirect) say days/weeks?

About once a month, our Vantage server will hang up when our MES users clock in or out. I have no warning that it's about to happen and the only thing that fixes it is for me to knock everyone out and then reboot the server. Can anyone give me any ideas on something I might be able to "check" when this happens so I can possible see what's causing it? Does this happen to anyone else?? I regularly reboot the server once a month and that limits the occurrences but I hate not knowing what causes it in the first place....

I just gave our leads a dashboard.  Then highlighted if ClockInDate does not equal today.  Then pounded and pounded….and still pounding. Agh.

I remember back in the day, that if people were clocked in for days, the MES System would lock up.

Make sure everyone clocks out properly.
