We do a restart on Sundays and also have a dashboard that each group leader is responsible for clearing each shift.

We run an automated restart of the app servers every Saturday night to combat this. Everyone knows when it will happen and accommodates the 10 minutes we are down.

It's been an issue for us in the past, but whether it's your issue on your specific version I can't be certain. It's just one thing I'd take a look at.

Rob, if what you say was true, could that cause my problem? I mean, everything works fine for weeks and weeks and then just one day, BAM, this will happen out of nowhere and rebooting always fixes it.

About once a month, our Vantage server will hang up when our MES users clock in or out. I have no warning that it's about to happen and the only thing that fixes it is for me to knock everyone out and then reboot the server. Can anyone give me any ideas on
something I might be able to "check" when this happens so I can possible see what's causing it? Does this happen to anyone else?? I regularly reboot the server once a month and that limits the occurrences but I hate not knowing what causes it in the first
place....
