FYI...
We've had various programs on various computers hang when
trying to run with Vantage 5.0 already running. Tech support
confirmed that there is a bug in Vantage.exe that causes this.
You can see vantage.exe running in task manager after vantage
is loaded. It is supposed to go away after vantage loads.
They told me to "end task" on vantage.exe and the effected
programs would run. This works great. Additionally, if you
start Vantage and Report Builder from a command line instead
of the .vtg file you won't have this problem as it bypasses
the splash screen.
