VB Field on Job Traveler

If you are trying to do a function on the filed you have to change the
length of it using the db administrator :)

We've modified the job traveler (Vantage 5.2) with Crystal 8.5 several times
but now we've added a VBform to the Job Assembly form. I can create a new
Crystal Report, add the JobAsmbl table and then add the CHARACTER01 field to
pick up the new field from the VBform but when I open the job traveler
report and try to add the field, CHARACTER01 does not appear in the list of
fields to add. I have done a Database, Verify Database but it didn't fix
it. Can anybody help?

The field in crystal will not be called character01. it will be called
whatever you named it in the esternal reference field when you added the
field to your Vb form preceded by a 2 letter table appbreviation.

For example, if you added a VBfield called "Designer" to the job header
table, in crystal the field would be called "JHDESIGNER". I don't have any
vbforms for job assembly table, but it's probably JA prefix...
