Does anyone know if a part is received into inspection from a PO but is not processed through inspection to inventory before the PO due date, does this count as late?
I don’t believe it does; if inbound inspection is a bottleneck, have you looked at using the Receive Time setting on Part Plant to “pad out” the time from receipt to booking into stock and then using these metrics to determine OTIF
The “Received Date” on the Receipt Entry Line Detail card (RcvDtl.ReceiptDate) is the date used for lateness. Inspection issues are not the Supplier’s problem, and you shouldn’t ding the supplier for them.
