Version 8.00 User Tables

OK so maybe I don't know what I don't know. When I set the datasource
for a checkbox on the POReceipts screen I get a list of views. None
seem related to the DMRHed table. I believe the DMR number on the form
comes from PORView. So if I want to use these fields in the DMRhed
table how do I add this table to the available datasources?

There are 20 user check boxes available in the DMR Header table....

Hello group,
I'm new to version 8, my last company was on hold at version 6.1. I'm
signed up for classes but they are a few months away. Can any one out
there explain the process of using the user tables (ud01). This is
what I want to do. I added some check boxes to a vantage form and
would like to tie them to ud01.checkbox01, 02, etc...

1) How do I make the ud01 table visible (available)in the
customization?
2) How do I set a keyfield in ud01 to match say the part.partnum field?
3) If the canned form is built on views how would I reference the
part.partnum field?
4) Do I need to set a keyfield in ud01 to match the .company field?

I think I know what I don't know. Does this make sense?

TIA
Mark
If these check boxes are strictly related to parts, there are user
definable checkbox fields in the part table......

Thanks but actually this is a simplified version of what I need. I
actually will be setting up 15 checkboxes on the Inspection processing
screen so we can fail a part for multiple reasons.
