Thanks Patrick and David. We are implementing AutoVue and Document
Management Module, but I had hoped to utilize this in the interim.

John,
VoloView Express doesn't give the same control over printing compared to
VoloView 2. We found it necessary to upgrade to the full version of
VoloView (currently ver.2) to acheive the control pver our print quality.
We have a wide variety of drawing sizes which were formatted to a variety
of
output devices. Voloview 2 supports system printers, fitting to a page
and
setting the drawing to monochrome. It is kind of a (AutoCad LT)-LT.
Express is really only effective as a viewer and not as a bridge to your
printer.

I'm not sure about Volo Viewer but in in AutoVue you can over ride the pen
widths with minimums. We use .01, I have not found such a setting on the
screens for Volo Viewer.

I have been observing the group since August and found it to be a valuable
resource. We commence implementation of Vantage 5.1 in March.
I downloaded VOLO VIEWER after reading the thread last week. We want to
access drawings over our VPN and print them locally. I'm fine with
accessing
the drawings however I cannot find a way to set the print quality locally.
It appears that you need a plotter otherwise you get default pen weights
which are too light to read. Any ideas?
