What do I do with an error that only gives me a correlation ID?

Had an issue come up that only gives me a correlation ID. I can’t find any reference to it on the system monitor. Is there a menu I need to look at to see what this means?

Presuming you are on Prem, you will need to look in the Event Logs on the Server that your instance is on.

Cloud here. Support pointed me in the direction of:

Server File Download then Appserverlogs, then downloading the logs for that day. Found the correlation ID in the server log text file.

Classic used to just show you the issue straight away. Not sure why I need to jump through so many hoops to troubleshoot one error. Well at least I know for the future.

Be happy we have the portal now. We use to have to request EpiCare to review the logs for us! :joy:
