I hope so.
I guess it’s not official until the notice is sent or it’s updated on the status page.

Hi Tim,
New term to me - “self-managed customer” - is that Custom Cloud, On Premises (aka on-prem, on-premise), Enterprise Cloud or a new category? (bring back EMS!)
Thanks!

Come on Epicor…

I see a lot of discussion here. This morning we had multiple meetings regarding .14 and the subsequent patch schedule.

Although we have five confirmed reports of the Product Configurator issue, we also recognize that many of you may not have tested or detected this in your pilot environments. Based on that risk, several of us strongly recommended that the production upgrade not proceed as planned.

Part of the confusion is that the defect was introduced in .11, which was never deployed to the cloud. Because the behavior was the same in .13 and .14, it was initially assumed to be an existing production issue. That assumption was incorrect. Once we clarified that, we halted further action.

Cloud Ops has stopped the production rollout. It is taking some time to unwind and correct the outbound communications. Please allow us a bit of time to make that fully visible.

To be clear: the .14 patch will NOT be installed into Production this weekend.

Hi All - i just tried to kick off a upgrade in LIVE - Kenetic UK South Tenant - Cloud - verification Failed. Cannot perform self upgrade as policy is set to Epicor Managed.

Case open here CS0005359517 - would anyone know if the help desk would pick up my ticket so the client can action this evening?

Was thinking the block was due to the .14 being deployed tomorrow?

Thanks in advance

To do self upgrades you first need to toggle the management switch under the upgrade button to change it from Epicor managed to customer managed. Once that has completed then you should be good to kick off the upgrade then switch back to Epicor managed once done.

I think this is correct

Did that work or is that how you already had it?

that was the setting that wont work. self managed on upgrade. get the error as per above

Hmmm. Watching with intent as I am kicking one off in the morning.

I have had that error before when doing a patch. But switching to customer managed made it work.

I wonder if for upgrades it is looking at both flags……

Try switching both update and upgrade to self managed and trying again?

would anyone know a number i can call for epicor cloud support?? looking for anyone anywhere?

The number for Epicor Kinetic Support is:

888-374-2679

(1-888-EPICOR9)

Although I think i saw some people posting about it being disconnected before..

There was a global update (.14) scheduled for this weekend, however this just got postponed, hence the self service actions not available.

Reviewing this internally to make the portal self actions available again.

In case anyone is thinking of a upgrade

We have decided to go Live in the middle of all these Linux and Windows issue. We are going live tomorrow with 2025.2.14. Yes it is the version that has been postponed. Our team did the testing and everything look good. Will report what are the issue we face.
