What to expect when changing UOM significant digits/decimal places?

A user asked what we would witness if we changed the decimal places to be 4 instead of 2 for the EA UOM.

I am guessing that this could impact BAQs, reports, BPMs, sales dollars etc. Is this correct? What else should we expect when changing the decimals?

IIRC current would just add two extra zeros but any calculations to inventory changes would start rounding. So receipt from MFG or from vendors and other inventory changes like shipments.

Suggest you run this in your Pilot and do jobs, shipments, PO receipts etc to test.

I figured that I would have to do some testing in pilot for this, I was just concerned that I would have to do a LOT of testing. Thanks!
