What triggers a MFG-VAR transaction with description of "Manual

Thanks so much, I believe this is EXACTLY what someone exactly did that caused those transactions appear.Â

are you using projects? maybe running a revenue recognition process?

We are experiencing some strange transactions that have just started occurring on some jobs that we’ve never seen before.  We cannot figure what is triggering a “Manual WIP to COS recognition transaction” on our WIPrecon report.  We are seeing COS Material, Labor, Burden, and subcontract entries.  We have compared different types of jobs and nothing looks strange on the ones that are exhibiting this behavior.  Also, the costs on these transactions in all aspects (Material,Labor,Burden,Subcontract) are way higher from what the costs are on the job itself.  Any insight on what could be occurring would be appreciated.

Best regards

It's a long shot, but we had a problem with a job creating odd MFG-VAR transactions because the parent part was configured as Purchased, instead of Mfg.
