Maybe this is specific to the CRM Module, but I am not seeing any documentation to where the ‘Competitors’ table is used in the system. Can’t link to a customer, can’t add to quote or case, so where? Or is it just an unlinked table for us to use as we please?

Maybe it’s just quote entry actually… Sorry, it’s been a minute. When I was messing around with competitor, I was working in case entry a lot which also involved quotes, which is where it’s at I think.
Is anyone actually using this feature productively? Sometimes I’m curious how other people use the system
The sales VP quit on me about 85% of the way through the project and was pretty much the only one lobbying for CRM so never did end up using it, but boy did I have soooo many slide decks on CRM and intended uses and use cases and procedures etc… Was pretty rudimentary, but slick.
I’ve had a few clients use it. Mostly to manage the sales funnel, to see who they were competing against and for what products/lines, and won/lost quotes for the same. The reporting was done outside of Epicor, as each company wanted to look at things differently. Having the data in the system is nice, as you can then link to other data like margin percentage, salesperson, customer, need-by vs promise date, etc.
