I’m kind of new to all of this: I need find out whether a Customer is a Retailer or Wholesale. I was looking in the Customer Table and there is not such field. Would any one will know how to do it ?
There is a concept called “Industry Classes” in Epicor. It can be defined both for the Customer and the ShipTo. That is what we use to classify customers the way you are mentioning.

Vinay, when I ran the query for the Customer.Industry field but it is empty. It’s very unfortunate since I’m new to this database. Being Wholesaler or Retailer is that a field set when a new Customer is Created using the screen ? Maybe I can try to get access to that screen since my access is limited here
There are actually several places where whoever set up your data may have placed that information… in addition to what @Vinaykamboj mentioned (Industry Classes), there are also Customer Attributes and Customer Groups. Both of those areas are settable and searchable, but also completely optional and ENTIRELY dependent on whoever entered your customers to begin with. Best bet would be to check with someone who’s been there awhile and see where and how that particular data gets entered.

Industry Class Type and Codes need to be setup under Sales Mgt->CRM->Setup->Industry Class.
Once setup these are available for use in Customer Maintenance.
